Two things I already enjoy… just taken to another level. If you’re looking for a boost of energy & a beach/day club to vibe at, Bali has plenty to choose from! 🔥

FINNS Beach Club is known for being one of the best in the world and our time there was entertaining to say the least. 🪩🩵

Omma Day Club is tucked away in the heart of the jungle with a completely different vibe. From the music selection to the food… it was exactly what we wanted. Not to mention, the waterfall view? *chefs kiss* 🥹🌴✨

Bali really does both sides so well and these are only two of the five that we visited. 👀

In 2018, I started a new tradtion for myself of taking a solo trips during Thanksgiving and/or Christmas and it’s honestly my favorite thing to do. 🥲

I know you’re thinking “what about your family?” They weren’t so keen to the idea at first. I’m about showing people love and gifting year-round opposed to the consumer push that brainwashes us to think if we DON’T buy a ton of gifts during Black Friday and Christmas, then we “don’t love our friends/family”.

All far from the truth, at least for me. This untraditional route may seem selfish but why wait ONE day out of the year to show your appreciation for someone when there’s 364 days available?

Food for thought! 🙇🏾‍♀️ If you’re thinking about taking a leap to do something new, I say go for it! I’ll be in town this year but jetting not long after.

I stopped falling for the propaganda that everything in life has to be figured out, which has led me to experience life freely. 🩵✨ If you know me, you know how much detail I go into planning out months + years ahead, but one can only do so much.

I think life’s too short to neglect your most “wildest dreams” when some of them could be in arm's reach. 🫶🏾

This moment for example was one of my favorites during this trip! After soaking in the sun and kayaking in the ocean.. @_moorenotless_ & I decided to play sand volleyball. 😎🏐🌴

On a whim, we made some new friends from Spain who wanted to join in the game. Came out of retirement for this one, which felt so good! THE workout I needed after snagging multiple plates of Fijian food. lol

All in all, whatever God puts on your heart to do… please go for it! 🩵

I stopped taking advantage of the time I’ve been given and starting taking leaps that the younger me would’ve classified as “impossible”. ✨

Malamala Beach Club 🌺🇫🇯🌴✨

Truly one of the most incredible escapes in the Fiji Islands! 🥹 Coming for my birthday, I knew I couldn’t miss the opportunity to experience Malamala Beach Club for myself.

The full day pass is only ~$83 USD, which gives you access to Malamala Island, includes your ferry ticket, and transportation to/from your resort/hotel. All around win if you ask me!

When you arrive, they give you a beach club card that tracks your food & beverage orders throughout the day & you can simply settle your tab using a credit card or Fijian dollars. Super easy and seamless. 😌

Honestly, from the vibrancy of the ocean water to getting up close to the ocean life, Malamala Island feels like a real-life postcard. 🔥

I can’t recommend it enough! If Fiji is on your list, make sure @malamalabeachclub is part of your itinerary! 🥹🌺🇫🇯

I brought all of my favorites with me to Fiji. They honestly go everywhere I go, even back at home in Dallas.

The newest addition has been the 1080P Mini Keychain Camera which has been fun to use and steals the show when I bring it out!

When it comes to a solid collection, my best advice is to try out and research which is the best fit for [YOU].

Sometimes, we can be so focused on the destination that we miss out on the beauty of the journey. 🤌🏾✨

I experienced this lesson in real time while in Antigua. Google Maps decided the route I was taking was no good and detoured me mid-drive 🙃. At first, I was annoyed since the new route took me to the heart of the island’s hillside, and I didn’t have much time before the sun went down.

As a solo traveler, returning to familiar areas before sunset is extremely important. The hillside is beautiful, but street lights are rare in this area. All in all, the detour turned out to be incredibly scenic and worth the little stress.😅

If I were to focus on the fact that I was detoured instead of embracing the journey… It’s safe to say that I would’ve missed out. 🌴✨

Brought the bar to the beach since there wasn’t one.🙂‍↔️

A quick beach edition ASMR mixing this awesome vegan cream soda by @rockymountainsoda with pre-poured rum. Having this @mannahydration insulated bottle while outdoors always comes in the clutch! The end was a little messy but getting wet goes hand-in-hand at the beach. lol

Nevertheless whenever you’re in extreme heat/direct sun for long amounts of time, make sure to drink water & stay hydrated! 💦✨

Getting awesome travel shots while going solo can be difficult without the proper equipment.

I always travel with my @jobyinc Compact Tripod that has an insert for my @sonyalpha & @dji Osmo Pocket 3.

During my trip, this moment was the last time I was able to use this camera due to it malfunctioning from the high humidity. RIP to my Sony A7III 💔

Another thing that you have to know is, unfortunate things can happen during a trip but working through it is provides a great deal of preseverance. 🙏🏾

If you’ve been following me for a while then you may know how much I talk about the importance of rest and recuperation. 🧘🏾‍♀️

Earlier this year, between my massive workload and overconsumption, I experienced a slight burnout. I was called to truly rest and recharge to be the best version of myself, for myself, and in every way that I show up outwardly. ✨

Spending time with family in Playa Mujeres and visiting Isla Holbox was truly the cherry on top. Sitting in this moment of bliss was renewing beyond what I expected. 🤌🏾✨

The moral of the story is, give yourself as much time as needed to recalibrate. It may take less or more time than your peers & that’s okay!

Whatever you do today, I hope your betterment is included. You deserve it! 😊💛

Simple nature appreciation post 🥹🦩✨

Visiting Isla Holbox during flamingo season, from April to October, was a memorable moment for me. 🥲 The shallow waters and sand banks at Playa Punta Mosquito allow them to search for food and gather in flocks.

Due to this area being in a natural reserve, it’s a respectable rule to keep your distance and avoid disturbing them. 🥰

I shot this with a 28-200mm @tamronamericas lens. Bringing my @sonyalpha in the middle of the ocean was slightly nerve-wracking but thank God for dry bags! 😎

A Renewal Beyond Aesthetics | Isla Holbox 🫶🏾✨

From sandy streets to captivating infrastructure, Holbox provides all of the right elements that call for a digital detox & renewal.

Before arriving on the island, we were absolutely spoiled from the resort in Playa Mujeres & wanted to make sure our next place truly embodied the island’s abundance. 🤌🏾🌴✨

Of course there’s always the topic of resorts versus Airbnbs, and I enjoy the benefits of each one. The unlimited food and daily stocked, mini fridge was missed, but trust me, my body needed that break lol. 🫣

Isla Holbox | A Bohemian Paradise 🤍🌴✨

Some refer to it as the “Maldives of Mexico”😍, even though it’s only nestled 3 hours away from Cancun. For over three years, I highly anticipated strolling on the sands of this hidden gem. 🥹 I knew it would be right up my alley, but this experience revitalized me much more than I expected!

Holbox radiates & reflects the beauty of the local culture while being home to wildlife such as whale sharks & flamingos. 🦩✨

The community of Holbox takes precautionary measures to remain as natural to the land as possible, meaning minimizing the use of plastic & encouraging others to repurpose products. 🚯♻️

The only modes to get around are via golf cart, bike, or walking using your own two feet. The island itself is only 26 miles long, so walking isn’t as bad as it may seem. 🛺🚲👣
